The cordless telephone must also be in discoverable mode. Pairing is initiated from the cordless handset. Some cell phones require you to authorize the Bluetooth device before it will pair. The phone will show the cordless telephone base and you must authorize it to work.
Turn your cell phone off and then on again. Try the pairing procedure again. Reset the cordless telephone base by unplugging the AC power for 15 seconds, then plugging the power in again. Once the unit resets, try the pairing procedure again.
Check the Bluetooth device compatibility list for compatible cell phone and headsets. Pairing may not take place if the battery is low.
