If that doesn't solve the problem, you'll then want to verify the game through Steam to make sure the files are all good and not corrupt. If that doesn't work, try running the game as Administrator. Have faced such problems too. Only it doesn't grey out all the time. Jus at start of the match 0or at some key points. I think its the coding but I may be wrong. Is that what you faced too OP? Well, basically I wasn't able to save during any campaign missions. Running it as admin seemed to have fixed it for me.

Never had that issue with any steam game before. Thanks for the assist. You can only save at special times usually when you have just completed an objective. This will remove the lock permanently.
